San Francisco 49ers: 5 best player matchups to watch this season
By Aaron Tan
No. 3: Trent Brown vs. Von Miller (Week 14 vs. Denver)
Trent Brown is a rare good Trent Baalke pick. One could actually call him a steal, being drafted by the 49ers in the seventh round in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Brown’s mammoth frame, standing at 6-foot-8 and 355 pounds, has led him to be one of the best pass-blocking offensive tackles in the league when on the field.
There’s actually one NFL player who called him “the best right tackle in the National Football League.” And that NFL player would be no other than Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller of the Denver Broncos.
“Miller Time” has been one of the league’s best pass-rushers ever since he entered the league. Very few can take on the level of energy that he brings to the field.
Brown is one of them.
This matchup will be a truly great one to watch, as you witness a true battle of the trenches between two players, who are not only some of the best at their respective positions in the league, but who also possess the utmost respect for each other.
