San Francisco 49ers: 5 bold predictions ahead of the 2018 season

No. 2: 49ers will double their win total from 2017

That’s right. Twelve games.

With a strength of schedule that is tied for 15th in the league, the 49ers will continue their momentum from the end of 2017 into 2018. Only three teams the Niners face in 2018 made the playoffs the year before, and five of the teams had losing records.

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will have an easy time settling in, and the wins will start to pile up.

From 6-10 to 12-4, 2018 will show the NFL that San Francisco’s rebuild is over.
