Um, what exactly are the Miami Dolphins doing?

They dealt away wide receiver Jarvis Landry and let standout defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh go, essentially stripping the team of its best two players from 2017.

Essentially, the Dolphins are clearing house with the realization they need a complete overhaul from top to bottom. So getting rid of those big contracts makes sense, even though it’s going to be painful to watch Miami this season.

At least fans won’t have to worry about watching Jay Cutler under center, as Ryan Tannehill resumes his starting duties. And Miami made some moderate upgrades to Tannehill’s offensive line, bringing aboard offensive guard Josh Sitton and center Daniel Kilgore.

But perhaps the only thing worth watching in Miami this season will be running back Frank Gore, as he continues to climb the record books in what has been a Hall of Fame-worthy career.

Other than that, though, 2018 will be a year to forget.
