NFL power rankings: Final 32-team breakdown ahead of the 2018 draft

The Rams are your offseason winners so far.
Out of all the teams in the NFL, few have been as active — or have made such notable splashes — as Los Angeles. Sure, losing wide receiver Sammy Watkins and cornerback Trumaine Johnson may hurt. And the Rams brought aboard cornerbacks Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters on deals less expensive than what Johnson made on the franchise tag a year ago.
Geez!
If that wasn’t enough for you, the Rams were able to lure in defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to play alongside fellow DT Aaron Donald, who is arguably the top interior defender in the league right now.
The strong get stronger, one might guess.
Better yet, head coach Sean McVay has turned the offense from a laugher into a potent group. Running back Todd Gurley had an MVP-like campaign a year ago, and quarterback Jared Goff has taken huge strides after being labeled a bust his rookie season.
The thing that makes this all possible is Goff still playing on his rookie contract. While he’s on the cheap, L.A. is in “win now” mode to the fullest extent possible.
