Every team drafts their share of busts, and the San Francisco 49ers are no exception. Here’s a list from the last ten years that you probably would rather regret.

Ah yes, the NFL draft.

For every Joe Montana, there’s a Jim Druckenmiller. For every Peyton Manning, there is a Ryan Leaf. For every…you get the picture.

Busts are a part of NFL life, and the San Francisco 49ers aren’t exceptions to this rule.

In fact, for a lot of the Trent Baalke regime, the 49ers were the rule.

So just in case you were having too good of a day, here’s five names over the last 10 years you would rather forget.

First to third rounders only, I think it would be pushing the envelope a tiny bit to call anyone on day three a bust when they’re generally not expected to be stars anyway.
