No. 4: Running Back Carlos Hyde

I have mentioned in many of my articles the 49ers would be wise to move on from running back Carlos Hyde, and people often mistake that for me disliking him for what he does as a player, which is completely wrong. He just isn’t a good fit for head coach Kyle Shanahan’s offense, unlike new signee Jerick McKinnon.

I think Hyde is a big bruising back, who plays tough and always fights for extra yards. He is the prototypical power back any team will be lucky to have.

And now the Cleveland Browns have him, adding a crucial piece to their rising offense.

With Jarvis Landry, Josh Gordon and now Hyde, the Browns offense suddenly looks pretty formidable, especially if they add a top signal-caller in the draft. The team is seeking to rise to a level above mediocrity, and adding Hyde will greatly help them achieve that.
