With the first week of NFL free agency coming to a close, Niner Noise takes a look at the five best signings of the new league season.

Ahh… NFL free agency.

The time period where players across the league celebrate signing new and especially lucrative contracts, and general managers groan at how much money they overpaid for signing these players.

Because that’s the reality of the market right now as it continually progresses — players are demanding bigger and bigger contracts now that every single free agent is getting overpaid.

It’s just how the league works.

With that being said, here are this year’s five best free-agent signings so far.

By the way, I would love to put some of the 49ers‘ signings on this list, but I want to focus on the rest of the league for this one.
