2018 NFL offseason quarterback carousel: Predicting who goes where

Drew Brees
2017 Team: New Orleans Saints
It’s too weird, almost impossible to envision Drew Brees in anything but a New Orleans Saints uniform.
His contract officially expires at the start of the NFL new year, though, and the 39 year old could feasibly hit the open market this month.
Brees’ numbers were the lowest they’ve been since 2009, although that’s not too much of a surprise, as the Saints began a shift to running back Alvin Kamara and the running game last season. Considering Brees’ age, it’s a wise move to at least plan for the future.
CBS Sports’ Cody Benjamin listed the Cleveland Browns, the Denver Broncos, the Miami Dolphins, the Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets as possible suitors if the Saints don’t re-sign him.
Brees expects to stay in New Orleans, though. And it’s probably the most logical move for a team having rediscovered a formula for getting deep in the playoffs.
No reason to make a change at the NFL’s most important position while the window is still open.
