Niner Noise looks at the top three targets the San Francisco 49ers should consider, now that 2018 NFL free agency landscape has become clearer leading up to the start of the league’s new year.

The San Francisco 49ers, perhaps, are in the best position they’ve seen in years to tackle NFL free agency.

Coming off a five-game win streak to close out 2017, plus a franchise-type quarterback in Jimmy Garoppolo, the Niners are no longer a laughingstock. They’re becoming a destination. And with nearly $70 million in available cap space, general manager John Lynch and Co. can be as aggressive as they see fit.

Yeah, that’s a good situation to be in.
