Now that the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine has come and gone, Niner Noise looks at five prospects that shined at the event and may have drawn interest from the 49ers.

I am not the biggest fan of how scouts rely on the NFL Scouting Combine to measure draft prospects on how good of a football player they are.

However, I do admire how the combine is a place where these prospects can show off their athleticism and interview with teams for the general managers to get a good feel for how well these players will fit on their squads.

And of course I can’t forget how it was a place where the 49ers won a coin toss over the Raiders to win the No. 9 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft.

Many prospects impressed at the combine, and as a result, their draft stock will immediately shoot up. On the other hand, the players who did not put on a good show at the event will see their stock plummet.

Obviously we want to focus on the prospects who had a good combine, so here are five of them who interviewed with and should have drawn interest from the 49ers at the NFL Scouting Combine.
