. Quarterback. Oklahoma. Baker Mayfield. 1. player. 53
Armed with two top-five picks in the NFL Draft, the Browns need not wait around and hope for a high-profile quarterback to fall to them.
2017 revealed quarterback DeShone Kizer isn’t going to be the answer, and the Browns will be looking for a signal-caller capable of riding out the storm until the team is able to build a strong supporting cast around him.
And it would help to have both talent and a proverbial “chip on the shoulder” too.
Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield is the guy here. Mayfield’s personality might upset some general managers. But the Browns need a big personality under center after failing to find the right one for… well, years.
