No. 5: Paul Richardson, Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson never truly lived up to expectations up north, although he’d be an intriguing target for the Niners heading into 2018.

And NFL.com’s Matt Harmon broke down why Richardson would be an intriguing pickup by the 49ers:

The deep-threat capability is there, as Richardson ran a 4.40 40-yard dash at his NFL Scouting Combine back in 2014.

And Kyle Shanahan covets speed.

Combined with Marquise Goodwin’s speed and Pierre Garçon’s physicality, Richardson could easily be the kind of player to help this unit thrive.
