Niner Noise breaks down the NFC West, power-rankings style, looking at each team and what it has going heading into the 2018 offseason. Where do the San Francisco 49ers rank?

There’s been a shift in power within the once-vaunted NFC West.

The Seattle Seahawks, after going 9-7 last year, are no longer top dogs. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Rams turned plenty of heads and rode an 11-5 record to a division title and trip into the postseason.

And after picking up quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, subsequently inking him to the largest deal in NFL history, the San Francisco 49ers appear to be trending back in the right direction. They’re no longer the division’s laughingstock.

Based off what we know now, how does the NFC West stack up? In this slideshow, we’ll break down each team within the division as if it were in NFL power rankings. We’ll look at the plusses and minuses for each franchise, predicting where each team will finish when the 2018 regular season comes to a close.

Let’s kick this off with a team seemingly in the early stages of an all-out rebuild, the Arizona Cardinals.
