The San Francisco 49ers are in search of defensive impact players that will provide the organization an immediate insertion of talent with a determined specific direction in mind to win Super Bowl championships.

The San Francisco 49ers will look to improve their defense this offseason after finishing 25th in points allowed (383) and all-purpose yards given up (5,625).

And both free agency and the NFL Draft will provide options.

From Feb. 27 to Mar. 5 of 2018, the NFL Scouting Combine will be in full operation at Lucas Oil Stadium, in Indianapolis, Indiana. With free agency open for business on Mar. 12, and signings starting on Mar. 14, general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan are no doubt burning the midnight oil pinpointing draft prospects and focusing on athletes that will contribute immediately to the team.

With the spotlight concentrating to secure a rock-solid defense through the draft, the following players are guys I’ve noted as “must get” for the 49ers.
