Pick No. 16 to No. 20: Billy Price, Guard/Center, Ohio State

I’ve said it before, I’ve said it again and I have no doubt I’ll say it once more after the following sentence. Interior line is probably the biggest area of need.

There’s not a lot to say about this one. Billy Price is a tough blocker who played a lot of tough opposition at Ohio State and will fit easily as an upgrade for the 49ers at either center or guard. He isn’t as hyped as Nelson, but should be a safe and steady pick in the back half of the first round.

Here’s a question, what do the Niners do if Carlos Hyde leaves? Saquon Barkley would be an amazing addition but the Cleveland Browns could possibly take him at No. 1.

So what about if the Niners look at possibly the second best running back?

Georgia’s Sony Michel ran for 1,227 yards at 7.9 yards per carry and 16 touchdowns. While not the best receiving back in the class, Michel can still be the workhorse back for the Niners and a new toy for the offense to pair with Jimmy Garoppolo.
