With quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo’s arrival, the San Francisco 49ers will likely upgrade their wide receiver corps this offseason. Heading into the 2018 NFL Draft, Niner Noise discusses 10 draft prospects the Niners might target.

Now that San Francisco has addressed its need at quarterback, the team has now shifted focus to build around quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. While upgrading the offensive line is a top priority, the 49ers could also look into their options at wide receiver.

Even though San Francisco’s crop of perimeter wideouts collectively had a solid 2017 season, the 49ers still do not have a true No. 1 receiver.

More specifically, San Francisco needs a player to address its issues scoring inside the red zone.

Pierre Garçon had impressive numbers prior to suffering a season-ending injury in 2017. However, the veteran Garçon will be 32 years old come the 2018 season, which may or may not affect his play on the field.

Marquise Goodwin recorded the most receiving yards in 2017 with a total of 962. Despite being the top target for Garoppolo late in the season, Goodwin’s injury history might become a problem in the long run.

While the 49ers have promising talents in Trent Taylor and Kendrick Bourne, the team still needs a reliable wideout for Garoppolo.

San Francisco could sign a free-agent wide receiver this offseason, especially with the likes of Jarvis Landry and Allen Robinson becoming available in the market.

Although, if the 49ers choose the NFL Draft to take a potential No. 1 receiver, here are 10 draft prospects San Francisco could look into.
