There aren’t exactly a lot of offseason holes for the Minnesota Vikings, even after their disappointing exit in the NFC Championship game.

Well, except for one major hole — quarterback.

Sam Bradford, Teddy Bridgewater and 2017 unlikely hero, Case Keenum, are all free agents. Bradford won’t return, but Minnesota has a tough decisions between the other two. Will the team finally hand starting duties back over to Bridgewater? Or did Keenum do enough over the course of the year to justify throwing away the “backup” moniker?

Losing offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur to the Giants’ head-coaching vacancy hurts a bit too. Shurmur did amazing things with the Minnesota offense even after a slew of injuries to players like Bradford and running back Dalvin Cook.

Cook will be back, so will the Vikings’ top-tier defense. And one can be excited about the receiving tandem of Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen.

Still, the Vikings drop a couple of spots in NFL power rankings, mostly due to the uncertainty at center and Shurmur’s departure to New York.
