No. 1: Quarterback Tom Brady, Patriots

Well, if this isn’t a shocker.

As stated, Tom Brady has already won this award four times. Why would anyone predict someone else wins?

True, the Eagles could pull off an upset. And as Niner Noise’s Titus Briseno pointed out, the last MVP award winner from a losing team came all the way back in Super Bowl V with Dallas Cowboys linebacker Chuck Howley getting the honors.

More from Niner Noise

If the Patriots win on Sunday, it’s going to be hard to see MVP recommendations go to anyone else. After all, Brady owns a 95.3 passer rating in Super Bowls. He’s the GOAT, plain and simple.

Sure, it’s possible someone else on New England gets the award, especially if Brady winds up having a pedestrian-like game.

But would you bet on that? Didn’t think so.
