No. 4: Jerry Rice (Super Bowl XXIX)

Considered by many to be the greatest football player of all time, Rice had numerous jaw-dropping performances throughout his NFL career.

Rice’s resume speaks for itself. In 20 years, the Hall of Famer garnered 1,549 catches, 22,895 receiving yards and 197 touchdowns.

Most importantly, Rice collected three Super Bowl rings as a member of the 49ers.

During his last Super Bowl appearance with San Francisco in 1995, Rice once again seized the moment. Rice recorded 149 yards for 10 catches and connected with Young for three touchdowns.

Even though he separated his shoulder in the first quarter, Rice still realized the magnitude of the game and played through the injury.

Despite the injury, Rice still managed to deliver one of his best Super Bowl performances and help San Francisco win 49-26 against the San Diego Chargers. Rice’s toughness and determination during that game showed exactly why he is referred to as the “G.O.A.T.”
