The 2018 East-West Shrine Game kicks off today, and these five participating prospects should be on the San Francisco 49ers radar as they prepare for the NFL Draft this April.

With the 2017 regular season in the books, the San Francisco 49ers have shifted their focus to all the offseason programs including the 2018 NFL Draft.

Part of that includes the 2018 East-West Shrine Game to be held on Saturday, Jan. 20 from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The game kicks off at 3 p.m. ET.

Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports.com has compiled a tracker of participating prospects the 49ers have interviewed leading up to the game. You can view both the east and west rosters here.

Many of these prospects won’t be on teams’ draft boards until days two or three of the NFL Draft. But if you’re looking for mid-to-late-round talent, this game is for you.

We’ll take a look at five prospects the Niners and their scouts should keep an eye on during this contest and break down why each might be a fit for San Francisco in 2018.
