Defensive Tackle. Clemson. Christian Wilkins. 22. player. 16.

An ACC scout told me Clemson defensive tackle Christian Wilkins might be the most-balanced interior defender in this year’s NFL Draft class, notably based off his ability to rush the passer and handle his own against the run.

And at 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, that’s a pretty scary thought.

The Buffalo Bills need help along the interior of their defensive line. With Marcel Dareus now with the Jacksonville Jaguars, a run-stuffing DT with pass-rushing skills should be the top priority.

Dareus primarily lined up as a 5-technique defensive end, although his lack of edge speed probably means he’s best suited along the interior.

And that would be perfect for head coach Sean McDermott and Co.
