Quarterback Kirk Cousins sure helped his free-agent price tag in Week 16 with a solid performance at home against the Broncos.

Cousins went a cool 19-of-37 for 299 yards with three touchdowns against an interception. And it surely is going to be an interesting storyline to see what the Redskins do when the offseason hits.

Nevertheless, Cousins and the offense put up 27 unanswered points between quarters two and four, while Washington’s defense made easy work of what has become one of the worst offenses in the NFL this year.

Redskins receiving targets Jamison Crowder, Vernon Davis and Josh Doctson all had touchdowns, while the defense forced three Denver turnovers.

Not a bad outing in what was a meaningless game, and one can only wonder what the case would have been if Washington had stayed healthy this season and hadn’t gone 1-4 in the division this year.
