It took some late-game heroics, but Jimmy Garoppolo again led the San Francisco 49ers to a win with their 25-23 triumph over the Tennessee Titans in Week 15. Let’s look at the good, bad and ugly from the matchup.

Well, just a over month ago the San Francisco 49ers sat at 1-10 and were looking at a lost season. Three Jimmy Garoppolo starts later and the team is riding a three-game winning streak.

The Garoppolo hype machine, already traveling at an exceptional pace, has been added a handful of fuel with the fourth-year quarterback’s game-winning drive to knock off a playoff foe in the Tennessee Titans.

With only 1:07 on the clock, Garoppolo needed a mere three plays to get the ball into field goal territory for kicker Robbie Gould. The 45-yard kick, Gould’s sixth of the game, moves San Francisco to 4-10 on the season and deals a serious blow to Tennessee’s postseason hopes.

For the game, Garoppolo finished 31-43 for 381 yards and one touchdown. It is the second consecutive outing where Garoppolo has set a career-high in passing yards for a single game.

That is one of the positives that can be drawn from this Week 15 win. Here is our weekly good, bad and ugly recap.
