No. 3: Tom Brady (NE)

One of the oldest players in the NFL makes a list full of young future stars. Why? Because Tom Brady is still that good.

At what point does Tom Brady begin to decline? I haven’t seen it in 2017, so he is still a top keeper selection at quarterback heading into 2018. Brady is near the top in every statistical category again, but is beginning to get the Michael Jordan treatment from fantasy football players.

What I mean by that is, Brady isn’t seen as the absolute stud that he is because his excellence is expected. When Brady throws for 300 yards and three touchdowns, no one blinks anymore. Those are elite fantasy numbers from your quarterback, but he isn’t the exciting pick for fantasy football teams.

As long Brady is in the NFL and on the Patriots, keep him on your fantasy team. There are few quarterbacks that can consistently get you 25 or more fantasy points in the NFL, and Brady is still one of them.

Brady is an obvious pick for this keepers list, but a necessary one. We as fantasy football players only have a few seasons of Brady left. We have to cherish every year, and that includes 2018.

If you are thinking of going for a new quarterback next season and parting ways with Brady, don’t. He is still the greatest. Don’t over think it like most fantasy football players love to do.
