No. 3: Russell Wilson (SEA)

The season that Russell Wilson has put together in Seattle has been incredible. He is the entire Seahawks offense. That makes him a fantasy football monster for 2017 and beyond.

The Seattle running game can’t be as bad as it is this year in 2018, but there are no clear answers for it right now. Wilson is the team’s leading rusher and it isn’t even close. He has had the cards stacked against him all season, and yet they are still sitting as a playoff team in 2017.

Any fantasy football player who owned Wilson this season knows just how great he has been. However, next season is set to be even better for Wilson.

Every year Wilson has thrown for more yards per game than the year prior since joining the NFL. This season he is averaging over 270 yards per game to go with accounting for over 35 touchdowns when this season is over. There is nothing that Wilson does poorly.

When you compare Wislon’s stats with other running quarterbacks in the NFL, Wilson looks even better. Cam Newton is only throwing for 200 yards a game this season and is going to account for around 25 touchdowns at the end of 2017. Tyrod Taylor is the most feared runner at quarterback in the NFL, but he has been benched in a season where Wilson has flourished in the same role for the Seahawks.

Wilson is one of the best players in the NFL. Not just at quarterback, but at any position. If not for Wilson this season, the Seahawks are picking in the top five of next season’s draft. That’s how many wins he adds to this team. He can add those wins to your fantasy football team as your keeper  for the 2018 season as well.
