It might not have always been pretty, but Packers backup quarterback Brett Hundley did his job — hold the line until All-Pro Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) was healthy enough to return.

Week 14’s win over the Browns summed up this sentiment. The Packers were down early, only to rally late in the second half to tie things up and send the game into overtime.

Then Hundley and wide receiver Davante Adams did the rest.

Green Bay gets a modest climb up our NFL power rankings this week, as we want to see how well Rodgers looks in his pending return this week. With the Packers fighting for their playoff lives, they’ll need him to be his usual self — never easy after such a tough injury.

Biggest Question

The Packers essentially need to win out to secure a playoff berth, which won’t come easy against the Carolina Panthers, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions the final three games of the season.

Rodgers is a critical difference maker, but will that be enough?
