W, 27-20 vs. Patriots. Previous: . Miami Dolphins. 22. team. 59.

Well, that was an impressive win against the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football, wasn’t it?

The Miami Dolphins managed to stave off a late surge by the Pats in the fourth quarter, but the reality was the Dolphins frustrated quarterback Tom Brady seemingly all night long and made New England’s life nearly impossible on third downs.

Meanwhile, Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake continues to make the decision to move on from Jay Ajayi a smart one. Drake finished with well over 100 yards for the second straight game.

And get this — quarterback Jay Cutler was actually good on the night, throwing three touchdowns and zero interceptions for a passer rating of 112.1.

But this was the defense’s game, and doing so against New England is notable.

Biggest Question

With the playoffs no longer a factor for Miami, head coach Adam Gase and Co. have to figure out what they want to do under center. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who has been absent this year with a knee injury, could be part of the future.

Or not. And what is the offense going to look like in what’s appearing to be a notable transition?
