Sit-em: Austin Seferian-Jenkins (NYJ) @ Denver

The touchdowns have stopped coming for Austin Seferian-Jenkins. He relied on those touchdowns to boost his fantasy football value and now he is a poor option going forward.

Seferian-Jenkins success looks much less attractive when broken down by yards. in his ten games with the Jets this season, he has only topped 50 yards once. He has been held under 30 yards receiving in six of those games. That was capped off with his seven yard performance last week against Kansas City.

The Jets offense has continued to flourish, but Seferian-Jenkins hasn’t been a factor. He should be cut in most fantasy leagues before these playoffs start. There are better injury replacements like Stephen Anderson in Houston and Dwayne Allen in New England this week.

Seferian-Jenkins has a good three-week run, but he is not a major piece of the Jets offense. The Denver defense has been very poor against the tight end position this season, but Seferian-Jenkins has not gotten enough run to be a real threat this week. Avoid him in fantasy this week and wait for him to prove he can stay a consistent factor in this New York passing attack.

Other options: Eric Ebron (DET) @ Tampa Bay and Jason Witten (DAL) @ New York Giants.
