Start-em: Dwayne Allen (NE) @ Miami

Rob Gronkowski is suspended for this matchup and Martellus Bennett was placed on injured reserve, so that leave Dwayne Allen as the main tight end on the Patriots roster.

Tom Brady loves his tight ends. He always has and that isn’t going to change for the one week without Gronkowski. Allen looks to slide right into the lineup and fill his shoes this week. He can also slide right into your fantasy football lineup if you have questions at tight end here in Week 14.

Allen is not a regular third string tight end. He is a proven producer at the NFL level and that will give Brady all the confidence he needs to look his way this week.

Allen had years with eight and six touchdowns in Indianapolis so look for him as a great redzone target for the Patriots this week. The New England receiving group is talented, but the one thing they lack is size . Allen provides that and will be the big target Brady looks to in tight windows near the endzone.

Allen is a very hit-or-miss, one time play this week that could backfire or turn into the reason you win your fantasy football matchup. It’s up to you if you trust that he will find the endzone against a weak Miami defense this week or not. I see him at least getting five targets and turning one of those into six points in Week 14.

Other options: Davis Njoku (CLE) vs Green Bay and Stephen Anderson (HOU) vs San Francisco.
