So maybe the Eagles are somewhat vulnerable after all.

Philadelphia falls out of the top spot in our NFL power rankings this week, simply due to the fact its contest with the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football had the feeling of a playoff game.

And the Eagles simply didn’t deliver on prime time.

Quarterback Carson Wentz sure did, though, making some amazing throws. That one when he was literally being tackled was impressive. The Eagles also got some great production from wide receiver Nelson Agholor, but the fact the Seahawks were able to shut down Philly’s ground attack was a big burden the offense wasn’t able to overcome.

That, combined with having to contain Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, is going to make any visiting team’s life hard at CenturyLink Field.

Falling a spot isn’t the end of the world, though. The Eagles are, by far, the best team the NFC has right now. They’ll be just fine.
