We don’t know what you want us to say about the Rams that hasn’t already been said.

Head coach Sean McVay has turned a talented-yet-inconsistent bunch into, perhaps, the second best team in the NFL. They’re better rounded than the Vikings, one might say, and have more potent offensive weapons.

And their defense isn’t bad either. Just ask Cardinals quarterback Blaine Gabbert.

That Los Angeles defense was put to the test a little bit in the second quarter in Arizona, and the Cardinals actually out-statted the Rams in a number of different categories (time of possession, total yards, third-down conversions, first downs). But that didn’t matter. L.A. forced turnovers, and everyone suddenly remembered Gabbert isn’t a good quarterback.

Meanwhile, second-year Rams QB Jared Goff is looking like he is. Especially when he has all-purpose weapons like running back Todd Gurley around him.

Gurley was explosive, as per usual, and he’ll be a vital weapon for a soon-to-be Rams push into the postseason.
