14. team. 13. . W, 19-10 vs. Browns. Previous: . Los Angeles Chargers

Get this — the Chargers own the same record as the division leading Chiefs, 6-6, and are only out of the AFC West lead because of their Week 3 loss to Kansas City earlier this season.

One could make the argument L.A. is playing the best football out of the division right now. The only other real competition at the current moment remains the Oakland Raiders, who also have the same record and faced a weak opponent in the Giants.

Quarterback Philip Rivers was solid in his team’s 19-10 win over the lowly Browns, throwing for nearly 350 yards with one touchdown. And wide receiver Keenan Allen continues to show why he’s such a force when healthy.

But one of the bigger factors for Los Angeles has been its defense, as second-year EDGE Joey Bosa continues to impose his will up front.

The Chargers could easily make the playoffs this season — a statement no one would have made back in Week 1.
