The Washington Redskins fall a bit in our NFL power rankings after losing to the Dallas Cowboys in a big way on Thursday Night Football.

One could still argue the Redskins are superior to a team like the Titans, as Washington is a bit more well-rounded, but head coach Jay Gruden’s squad has now lost three of its last four contests. So perhaps Washington is fading at the wrong time.

The Cowboys made quarterback Kirk Cousins’ life difficult, forcing two interceptions and also holding running back Samaje Perine to just 38 yards.

But the key difference in this game was turnovers, including Cousins’ two picks. Tack on two fumbles, and one can see why this game ended up being so lopsided by its conclusion.

Washington now has a tough challenge on the road in Week 14, visiting the Chargers in what could be a make-or-break game.
