Wide Receiver Trent Taylor

Fellow wideout Marquise Goodwin might have had the bigger numbers on the stat sheet, but slot wide receiver Trent Taylor surely had the more important catches.

Taylor had three critical third-down pickups on the game en route to a six-catch, 92-yard performance.

And one of those grabs, a 33-yard reception in the fourth quarter, helped set up San Francisco’s game-winning touchdown.

Taylor never developed the kind of chemistry one hoped for with former 49ers starting quarterback, C.J. Beathard. Over the last three games Taylor had played, he never had more than three receptions.

With six in Week 13, it will be a fun development to see how well he and Jimmy Garoppolo form their own chemistry in coming weeks and seasons.
