Sit-em: Evan Engram (NYG) @ Oakland

The New York Giants are in complete disarray. Geno Smith is their starting quarterback. That is all you need to know. Avoid the Giants offense in fantasy football for the rest of the season.

Evan Engram was having a great rookie campaign, but I can’t see a way that continues with Smith and not Eli Manning at quarterback. Engram has been a bright spot in an otherwise dark and desolate season in New York.

Now they are setting him up to close the season on a low note and enter next year with unnecessary questions.

Oakland isn’t going to have to do much on defense to stop this offense. Giants head coach Ben MacAdoo has been a bust as a head coach and is yet to prove he can put a winning game plan together to win on Sundays consistently. Engram has performed in spite of these challenges, but Smith under center is too much for him to overcome.

The only healthy players Oakland has to be a little worried about are Engram and receiver Sterling Shepard. The only issue is, they can’t both throw and catch the ball. This offense was tragic with Manning under center, and fantasy football players need to drop any Giants player on their team with Smith as the signal-caller.
