49ers stock report after Week 12 loss to Seahawks

49ers Offensive Line
When healthy, the 49ers offensive line is slightly below average at best.
Yet the Niners O-line wasn’t fully healthy in Week 12, and it showed. Right tackle Trent Brown was absent with a concussion, leaving San Francisco to start undrafted rookie Erik Magnuson in Brown’s spot.
This wasn’t going to be an easy task, as Magnuson was forced to handle Seattle EDGE Michael Bennett, who bested the rookie for four tackles, one sack and two quarterback hits. And Magnuson also had a false start on the final drive of the game.
Overall, San Francisco’s O-line was more than just a little problematic in pass protection, leaving quarterback C.J. Beathard at the mercy of Seattle’s pass-rushers.
Beathard was sacked three times, under constant pressure and the victim of 13 quarterback hits.
Left guard Laken Tomlinson was a liability once more, especially in run support. More than once, Seahawks defenders pushed through Tomlinson easily to take down running back Carlos Hyde in the backfield.
Simply put, this unit will need some upgrades this offseason.
