Fullback Kyle Juszczyk

At least he didn’t have a fumble last week, but fullback Kyle Juszczyk certainly hasn’t lived up to the expectation level he generated after signing a massive four-year, $21 million free-agent deal with San Francisco last offseason.

Juszczyk wasn’t much of a factor in Week 12, hauling in just two passes for eight yards.

Granted, the 49ers offensive line has been less than stellar in pass protection, meaning Juszczyk’s use has shifted from being a pass-catching weapon to blocking duties. Even this is problematic, as his Pro Football Focus pass-blocking grade is a lowly 37.8. That probably explains why he’s been on the field for just 15 of these kinds of snaps.

Considering how much the Niners are hurting for offensive playmakers, Juszczyk’s relatively small impact is frustrating.
