42. . EDGE. Appalachian State. Ronald Blair. 5. player

Original Player Selected: EDGE Ronald Blair

This might be one of the handful of late-round gems Trent Baalke found during his final two years drafting for San Francisco.

EDGE Ronald Blair managed three sacks in a limited role for the 49ers his rookie season. And while he started off 2017 on injured reserve (thumb), he did manage to make quite a return splash with two more sacks in Week 10 against the New York Giants.

San Francisco already added a top-level pass-rusher in Yannick Ngakoue in this redraft. But remember, teams can never have too many pass-rushers.

Blair still fits the bill.
