Arizona Cardinals. 29. team. 32. . L, 31-21 at Texans. Previous:

You know you’re in football hell when you have to watch a quarterback duel between the Arizona Cardinals’ Blaine Gabbert and the Houston Texans’ Tom Savage.

In all honesty, though, this was a pretty well-quarterbacked game.

Gabbert, filling in for Drew Stanton filling in for Carson Palmer, threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns against two interceptions. And 91 of those yards went to veteran wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who continues climbing the all-time list.

At least he’s fun to watch.

Still, the once-mighty Cardinals defense can’t feel too good about giving up 31 points to a Texans team that had scored 21 the previous two weeks combined.

Oh, and running back Adrian Peterson was a non-factor. This is probably going to be an indication of what’s to come over the rest of the season.
