1. team. 54. . W, 37-9 at Cowboys. Previous: . Philadelphia Eagles

There’s no mistaking it — the Eagles own the NFC East, and it’s not even close.

Philadelphia came off its bye week, headed to Dallas and embarrassed the Cowboys in grand fashion on Sunday Night Football.

Despite a brief injury scare, second-year quarterback Carson Wentz continued to amaze and tossed two more touchdowns against zero interceptions. Compared to his counterpart, Dak Prescott’s three picks, it’s impossible to leave this tweet out of the summary:

Looking elsewhere, Eagles running back Jay Ajayi continued to find success with his new team, averaging a whopping 13.0 yards per carry on seven attempts after ripping off a 71-yard rush.

And even Philly’s defense got into the mix, forcing those three interceptions from Prescott and sacking him four times.

All in all, a great night for Eagles fans over their hated rivals.

The Eagles easily hold onto their top spot in our NFL power rankings this week. And they’re starting to run away with the division too.

Keep an eye on Philadelphia’s three-game road trip between Weeks 13 and 15, though, as that stretch could get a little tough. But for now, the Eagles can start thinking about a deep playoff push this season.
