Houston Texans. 18. team. 10. . W, 31-21 vs. Cardinals. Previous:

A week after scoring just seven points against the Los Angeles Rams, quarterback Tom Savage and the Texans offense suddenly found rhythm against the Cardinals, riding this momentum to a somewhat surprising 31-21 victory.

Savage was good, going 22-of-32 for 230 yards, two touchdowns against an interception, all for a passer rating of 97.1.

Certainly not the kind of production one would expect here.

The win earns the Texans a small climb in NFL power rankings, but there are some concerns here. Fumbling was an issue, and Houston was fortunate to lose only one of its four fumbles during the game.

And considering we shouldn’t expect performances like these from Savage on a weekly basis, it’s a bit of a worry to see the Texans defense give up 21 points to a Cardinals offense led by quarterback Blaine Gabbert.

Yeah, that Gabbert.
