Yes, the Buffalo Bills fall considerably in our NFL power rankings this week. But that’s what happens when head coach Sean McDermott elects to bench starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor in favor of the rookie, Nathan Peterman.

Here’s the stat you need to know from the first-year signal-caller — five interceptions on 14 attempts.

Hence the blowout loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Taylor eventually came into the game, but the damage was done. And McDermott’s move even prompted Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman to offer up some criticism:

Guess what, Bills fans. McDermott is considering starting Peterman again this week, according to Greg Beacham of the Associated Press.
