Niner Noise takes a look at the San Francisco 49ers roster and determines which players could wind up making the Pro Bowl when the 2017 season comes to a close.

The 2017 San Francisco 49ers are bad, and rarely do bad teams send a lot of representatives to the Pro Bowl when all is said and done.

Despite the disappointing season amid a long and arduous rebuilding process, the Niners have managed to field a number of promising players certainly worthy of Pro Bowl nomination. Most probably would wind up going as alternates, as it’s safe to say other players have put forth greater contributions.

Yet with Pro Bowl players frequently opting out of the festivities, and a number of others potentially making deep playoff pushes, the alternate route isn’t out of the question.

In the end, it doesn’t matter whether or not a player is a nominee or an alternate. Just getting there still counts.

We’ll attempt to predict which 49ers players wind up making the Pro Bowl after this season and why.

The good news is a number of these players are very young, meaning San Francisco could have the making for a very promising core down the road.
