48. . EDGE. . Tampa Bay Buccaneers. . team

It’s a little too early to give up on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense, following an influx of talent and what we initially thought would be a major leap in quarterback Jameis Winston’s career this season.

The Bucs’ struggles on offense are of note, but there are bigger issues here.

Out of them all, the pass rush — or lack thereof — is something Tampa Bay needs to put atop its priority list in the NFL Draft this offseason. Entering Week 11, the Buccaneers are next to last with just 14 sacks on the year.

Only the Raiders and Giants have less.

Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy leads Tampa Bay with four sacks, but all those have been from the interior. What’s needed is an elite edge rusher.

Perhaps the Buccaneers take a look at someone like LSU’s Arden Key to fill the void.
