Start-em: Sterling Shepard (NYG) vs. Kansas City

Since coming back from his ankle injury a few weeks ago, Sterling Shepard has played at an elite level. The Giants do not have much to be happy about this season, but Shepard is one of the few bright spots.

In the last two games, Shepard has 212 yards receiving. Eli Manning is looking his way early and often since his return. In his first game back two weeks ago, Shepard saw nine targets and last week he saw 13.

The catches and yards alone are enough to make him a top fantasy football receiving option, but his stats should get even better in the coming weeks. It is hard to go for over 100 yards per game and not score any touchdowns, but Shepard has managed it.

That stops this week.

This game between the Chiefs and Giants isn’t going to be easy to watch. However, garbage time yards and touchdowns still count in fantasy football. New York is going to have to throw the ball all over the field to catch up to the high-powered Kansas City offense, and that means double-digit targets for Shepard again in Week 11.

There aren’t many receivers in a better spot for fantasy excellence this week than Shepard. He needs to be a mainstay in every fantasy football lineup for the rest of 2017.
