It seems like forever since the Lions beat the Packers in Green Bay, and doing so on Monday Night Football is a way to go about it.

Granted, the Lions didn’t have to face off against Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone), but Detroit took advantage of this from its first offensive drive, scoring a touchdown, after nearly going 3-and-out, but taking advantage of a key Packers penalty to extend the drive.

The Lions never looked back.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford was brilliant in the cold, throwing for over 360 yards and two touchdowns, while Lions receiving targets Golden Tate and Marvin Jones Jr. each had over 100 yards apiece.

Detroit has a lot to prove to ensure a playoff spot, but this week’s win was certainly a step in the right direction.
