The Denver Broncos also fall heavily in our NFL power rankings this week after suffering a blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Granted, the Eagles are good. But Denver’s defense is supposed to be good enough to stop high-flying teams like Philly.

Looking at the numbers, this wasn’t the case at all.

But the bigger issue with the Broncos is the quarterbacking problem. Head coach Vance Joseph elected to make the swap from an increasingly ineffective Trevor Siemian to a less-than-desirable Brock Osweiler.

Osweiler was just as bad, if not worse. He tossed a touchdown but against two interceptions and posted a lowly 53.4 passer rating.

At this point, Denver’s season is starting to slip away in a hurry.
