53. . Running Back. Penn State. Saquon Barkley. 1. player

The Browns’ failed attempt to land Bengals quarterback A.J. McCarron just before the deadline doesn’t speak well about how the franchise feels about it’s current young QB, DeShone Kizer.

Rather than giving up on Kizer after just one season, though, Cleveland would do a better service by surrounding him with playmaking weapons on offense.

With little doubt, Penn State running back Saquon Barkley is the best offensive centerpiece in this year’s NFL Draft. Game-changing tailbacks like these don’t come around too often, and adding him to the picture would take a lot of pressure off Kizer to perform.

The Browns have some talent on defense, but too often their offense has fallen flat. Barkley would change all that.
