Start-em: Ezekiel Elliot (DAL) @ Washington

This may be one of the last chances fantasy football players have to use Ezekiel Elliot. With his suspension looming, Elliot lit up the scoreboard last week in San Francisco and more of the same is going to happen in Washington.

  • With the Washington defense getting back it’s best player in Josh Norman, Elliot is going to have to carry even more of an offensive load in Week 8. He has carried the ball over 25 times over the last two games and in both games he has over 100 yards. Dallas has very little at receiver past  Dez Bryant and he will be forced to deal with Norman all day. Elliot is their best bet to win this weekend.

Elliot is still a top three running back in the league as long as he is not suspended. Unfortunately for Washington and their fans, the NFL’s attempt to expedite that suspension process was unsuccessful and they have to now find a way to do what very few teams have been able to do over the past year and a half, stop Ezekiel Elliot.

I expect this game to be both close and high scoring so this is a great place to look for players in fantasy football. Most teams are in need of replacement players with the six team bye-week and this game is a great target. Elliot is going to get the ball over twenty times this week and is going to be the best running back that comes out of Week 8. Enjoy him while you still can fantasy owners.

Other options: Christian McCaffrey (CAR) @ Tampa Bay and Jordan Howard (CHI) @ New Orleans.
