Halloween is just about here, and the San Francisco 49ers are still winless this season. Next up are the Philadelphia Eagles in a Week 9 battle. Here is the preview with the latest news, X-factors, injuries and much more.

Welp. It is officially the lowest point of the San Francisco 49ers’ dreadful season. Last week was an absolute demolition courtesy of the Dallas Cowboys, who romped over the 49ers to the tune of a 40-10 victory.

Running back Ezekiel Elliott, a point of emphasis last week in my game preview, had no problem whatsoever making an impact on the field. Elliott finished with 147 yards and three total touchdowns on 26 carries and a lone reception (one that went for 72 yards and a score).

If you have watched San Francisco this season, this came as a surprise considering how good the defense has been against the run so far in 2017. The 30-point loss was the largest margin of defeat for the 49ers since Week 1, when they fell to the Carolina Panthers 23-3.

All in all, a horrendous showing by the red and gold.

And it’s only going to be harder this week, as the NFL-leading Philadelphia Eagles and their 6-1 record are set to take on the defeated San Francisco 49ers.

Let’s take a look ahead at this week’s contest against the Eagles, beginning with an examination of some statistics from this season.
